Before Pastor Billy and Pastor Sonny founded Bethel Church California, they began their service in 1991 with GBI Gatot Subroto-Jakarta, Indonesia, as ministers for a music department, young professionals and provided couple’s ministry.

Billy and Sonny were married in 1995 and were blessed with a daughter, Abigail.

In 1997, they were both ordained as ministers and entered full time ministry as missionaries in 1998 to plant and edify churches in New Zealand, Malaysia, and Canada, and several major cities in United States such as Philadelphia, Seattle and San Francisco.

Today, they are serving and guiding their local community in the Bay Area..
